The coming of fall is not simply a state of mind. I could feel the air becoming thicker today. I saw the leaves in new light. The lack of it. The darkness that I had not seen until later every night. But now it has cast its shadow on the evening. The brightness has faded away. The days get shorter. The nights get colder. The lightness of spring that gave way to summer is no more. The falling leaves around me. The elegance of bright orange. The huddle of people wrapped up meticulously. Ahh, the death of freedom…of life.
The urge to write about science has been overwhelming. The urge to write about life, even more. Welcome to my world.
